Should I get the HD5770 or the GTS450 for high graphic gaming?

for games like assassins creed, crysis, etc.|||Id say the GTS450 is the more powerful card, but i prefer the AMD/ATI Brand. I usually wouldnt say this.. but i think that going with the GTS450 would be the smarter move.
