1920x1080 res on nvidia gts450, will it works?

Now my computer using ASUS nvidia ENGTS450 TOP.

And im planning to buy Full HD 1080p monitor (Phillip 244E2SB/00)

Will it works? because i heard the GPU is designed for 1680×1050 gaming from this link

So, will 1080p monitor works with gts450?|||The blog posts says the card was optimized for a 1680x1050, but it doesn't mean it can't support a higher one. Despite being a mid-range GPU, the TOP (Top Overclocking Performance) in the model tells me that it's definitely not a slouch. I have no doubt it will work with your 1080p monitor provided you have have connected them (GPU and monitor) properly and the correct drivers are installed. I've recently stuck my old nVidia GeForce 7900GTX into my HTPC and even it can support a 1080p resolution.|||All graphics card work on a resolution the monitor's highest support. But there is one thing, THE HIGHER THE RESOLUTION, THE LOWER THE GRAPHICS CARD PERFORMANCE. So you need a powerful card. I have Radeon 5450 which performed very well on 15 inches monitor because i used 1024 x 768 resolution. Now i have 20 inches LCD and resolution is 1600x900. All games performances is slow. the games take much time for loading. FPS is 50% down because of high resolution.|||A friend of mine has this graphics card.

Works fine on his 24" monitor which is same res. :D Good luck.|||www.nvidia.com
